4. Working Time Regulations 1998
The Working Time Regulations 1998 provide that the working time, including overtime, of a worker shall not exceed an average of 48 hours for each 7-day period. However Regulation 5 provides that a worker may agree in writing with his/her employer that this limit shall not apply in his/her case. I, the undersigned worker, agree that I may work more than the average of 48 hours per week and the 48-hour limit under the Working Time Regulations shall not apply to me.
